Now for the rant.

I hear ignorant people suggest all the time that Conservatives represent the rich and speak for the poor.  Well, ask yourself this question.  How does a party gain power and grow?  I'll answer it for you--they get more people to join them.  Simple right?  No, some still don't get it.  If liberals represent the poor, it is only logical that they would want more (not less) poor people, thus strengthening their numbers. Whereas Conservatives, who people claim represent the rich, would want more rich people, correct?  Which means, that if you want to have the opportunity to make more of yourself and earn more money, you would want a Conservative representative correct?  However, if you want Government to take care of you as if you were a simple-minded child, then you would obviously want a liberal one.

It boils down to this, if you believe that you have the ability to manage your own life and do something with it, vote for a Conservative.  If you believe that you can't do anything for yourself and need someone to lead you by the hand forever, then, by all means, vote for a liberal.

wow! it's been awhile since my last post! since that time, we've sent a man into space, developed vaccines for serious diseases and begun work on, er... uh, what year is it again? ... really? well i guess there hasn't been much happening.
