An email to liberal film maker Mike Moore about his comments on our President.

Mike,

I just wanted to drop you a note to say that I just read your letter to the President.  Your comment on finding people who are passionate about killing Iraqis is offensive and shameful, I support the President, our troops, and the cause—I am NOT passionate about killing Iraqis, but I am passionate about killing Saddam and his ilk.  I think this is the root of the war, and I’m surprised that anyone would be against that.  I hear some say, “Why not go after N. Korea, or others for doing the same thing?”  Well, we can only do so much in a sitting, and everyone will get their turn to prove what they are worth, and when the time comes for the next dictator who *rules with an iron fist* I will support the expulsion (by any means) of them too.

Also, I find it funny that you reference France’s help during the Revolution (which I too remind people of).  France was a different country then, you can’t compare what is happening now, with what is happening then (remember we were trying to get rid of the King at the time, who wasn’t even as bad as Saddam).  Yet you fail to mention that Bush was duly elected according to the laws of the United States that were put in place by those same individuals who spent time in France, odd isn’t it?

It’s always nice to see liberals who think they *know* what everyone else wants to do.  Remember, you run with a crowd that views things as you do.  Bush runs with one that sees things his way.  Me, I can honestly say, looking at what’s been going on in this country, I am glad Bush is doing what he’s doing.  I am also glad that liberals such as you are standing up for what you believe in, because it’s helping the pendulum swing to the right just a little bit faster.

Thank you very much for being yourself,

Nick Oliver
